[Who Wants the First Bite?] Hishi Akebono

Support card art for [Who Wants the First Bite?] Hishi Akebono SSR Guts

Tier C. A clean, well-rounded Guts SSR that can’t escape the fact that Guts is the stat you want least, and you almost never run more than one.

Friendship-type Guts card built around bond and hints. Maxed, she stacks 25% Friendship Bonus, 30% Mood Effect, a flat 1 Guts Bonus, and 5% Training Effectiveness. Solid rainbow numbers for a card you actually slot. Her Lv30 unique tacks on +15 Mood and +20 Specialty Priority, so total Mood sits near the ceiling and she glues herself to Guts tiles. That priority bump is the catch. Guts is the stat you’re trying to minimize, so shoving her onto the Guts board pulls your other cards there too.

The hint package is what saves her. Hint Lv4 with 60% frequency at max is genuinely good, and the event skills cover Sixth Sense alongside Hydrate and the green Sunny Days circle. Her training events also hand out free Guts and Energy plus a Slow Metabolism status. Real passive value while she sits in the deck.

The role is the killer. You bring one Guts card at most, and Mejiro Ryan or the MLB SR Guts options do the same job cleaner. Guts training drops off hard past ~300, and in URA or the early scenarios you’d rather pour those turns into speed or stamina.

  • Pros: high Mood/Friendship, Lv4 hints, useful green plus Sixth Sense, free stat/energy events
  • Cons: Guts is the lowest-priority stat, single-slot role, off-meta for most builds

Slot her if she falls into your lap and you want a Guts seat. Pulling for her isn’t worth it.
