Analysis
Section titled “Analysis”Tier B. A cheap Wit card worth a slot purely for the Daring Strike hint on End Closers, but thin Training Effectiveness keeps it off the A-list.
The pitch here is the skill kit bolted onto a backline runner. Events feed you Daring Strike, which is one of the stronger mid-race accel skills if you’re running oikomi, and the hint list piles on Straightaway Spurt and Tail Held High over the usual corner and recovery filler. For an End Closer build that’s a genuine reason to slot it ahead of a vanilla Wit card. Friendship Bonus tops out at 30% and Mood at 30%, both fine. Wit Friendship Recovery scales to 5, so energy stays topped off like a good Wit card should.
Where it sags is the raw support output. Training Effectiveness caps at 5% and Race Bonus at 5%, so the rest of your deck has to shoulder the actual stat gains. The Lv30 unique is a plain flat +80 and changes nothing about how the card plays. Initial Friendship Gauge of 20 and Specialty Priority of 50 are respectable, neither one deck-defining.
How I’d build it: take it to 1LB so Wit training pays the bonus stats once bond hits orange, then leave it. Further uncaps give you almost nothing back.
- Pros: Daring Strike off events, Straightaway and Tail Held High hints, solid bond plus Wit energy recovery, good at 1LB so it’s cheap to make work.
- Cons: weak 5% Training Effectiveness and 5% Race Bonus, flat boring unique, basically dead weight outside an End Closer comp.
