[Tracen Academy] King Halo

Support card art for [Tracen Academy] King Halo R Speed

Tier D. Starter-issue R Speed filler with no unique effect and bonuses too thin to keep around. Run it in early Career, bench it the second any SR shows up.

This is the freebie R you stack to MLB in your first week of playing. It sits in the Speed deck and does the minimum. Friendship Bonus tops out at 15% and Mood Effect at 25%, which is honestly fine for an R. The rest of the kit is where it sags. Training Effectiveness only climbs to 5%, the stat side is a single point of Power Bonus at Lv40, and the Initial Friendship Gauge caps at 20. There’s no unique effect, so it can’t punch above its rarity like a real SR or SSR does.

The hints are the one part worth caring about. Hint Frequency reaches 40% at Hint Level 2, and the skill list has some genuine keepers for closer and late builds: Homestretch Haste, Gap Closer, Wait-and-See. As a cheap hint dispenser on a fresh save, that earns its slot for a bit.

Then it loses every comparison. Drop in an SR Speed card like Sweep Tosho or Shinko Windy and you get stronger friendship gains plus actual stat bonuses, often a unique effect on top.

  • Pros: maxes for free, respectable Mood/Friendship for an R, decent hint frequency with usable skills
  • Cons: no unique effect, basically zero direct stat help, instantly outclassed by any SR

Use what the game hands you. Replace it the moment something better walks in.
