[Breakaway Battleship] Gold Ship

Support card art for [Breakaway Battleship] Gold Ship SSR Stamina

Tier C. A launch-era hint dispenser that any modern Stamina SSR shoves out of your deck the moment one lands.

The entire reason to look at Gold Ship is hints. Max it out and you get Hint Frequency 60% with Hint Levels 4, feeding a long-runner kit: End Closer Savvy, Highlander, Groundwork, Pressure, Smoke Screen, plus the Hanshin Racecourse and Risky Business event skills. As a cheap hint faucet for a closer build, it delivers.

Then you look at the bonuses and the whole thing falls apart. Friendship Bonus stops at 20%. Mood Effect caps at 30%. Both sit a full tier under what you’d actually want anchoring a Stamina slot. Training Effectiveness is barely there, just 5% from the effect, with the Lv30 unique tacking on a bit more plus an Initial Friendship Gauge head start. No Specialty Priority means it won’t reliably steer you into stamina rainbows. Zero Race Bonus means it does nothing for fans or banked rewards. Stat bonus is a flat +1.

  • Pros: huge hint frequency and levels, a genuinely useful closer skill list, Initial Stamina 30, and that friendship-gauge jump.
  • Cons: no Specialty Priority, no Race Bonus, weak friendship and mood scaling, the throwaway +1 bonus.

Current Stamina SSRs out-friendship it and weight their specialty, so rainbow turns land far more often. Run Gold Ship early if your box is empty and you want the skill list on a long horse. Don’t burn pulls on it. Bench it the second a real stamina card appears.
