Analysis
Section titled “Analysis”Tier C. Free, maxes itself, and you’ll still probably never slot it on a real build.
Guts cards live at the bottom of the priority pile for almost every build, and this one doesn’t fight that reputation. Friendship Bonus caps at 25%. Mood Effect reaches 30% by Lv50. Training Effectiveness limps to a measly 5%. Specialty Priority hits 65 maxed, so it does show up in its lane reliably, but the reward for showing up is the stat you care about least. Initial Guts of 35 at Lv50 is a flat head start that a finished build barely notices.
The unique at Lv40 is the one part worth talking about. +10 Friendship Bonus and +20 Initial Guts stack onto the base, dragging friendship training into territory that’s actually fine for a dedicated Guts run. Skill-wise it’s recovery and positioning. Lay Low, Pace Strategy, Steadfast, Deep Breaths, and Fighter come off hints, with Unruffled and Calm in a Crowd from the events. That’s a workable Late Surger package for mid-to-long, nothing that bends a build around it.
The real problem is the free shop Guts card you almost certainly already run. It covers the same job for a fraction of the hassle.
- Pros: free at max level, the unique pulls its weight once it lands at Lv40, hint list suits Late Surgers
- Cons: Guts is dead-last priority, training multipliers are thin, the shop Guts card already does this
Claim it from the event because it’s free. Pulling for it or building around it only makes sense if you’re chasing a Guts gimmick on purpose.
