[Tonight, We Waltz] King Halo

Support card art for [Tonight, We Waltz] King Halo SSR Power

Tier B. A solid friendship Power filler with great specialty priority, dragged down by a skill list nobody’s excited about.

King Halo does the friendship-Power job, the slot most decks slot in while chasing a Power cap. The bonus spread is exactly what the archetype wants. Friendship Bonus tops out at 30%, Training Effectiveness hits 10%, and the Lv30 unique tacks on another +10 Friendship Bonus with +20 Specialty Priority. That priority is the selling point. Base sits at 50, so once she’s bonded she shows up on Power tiles at a heavy clip and your rainbow Power sessions stay reliable turn after turn.

Everything else is fine without being exciting. Initial Power 30 plus a flat 20-point head start on the bond gauge smooths the early rapport grind. Hints come often (50% frequency, level 3), so you’ll see her skills pop up plenty. The Power Bonus is a measly +1, though, so she pads almost no raw stat.

The skill kit is the problem. Stop Right There!, Uma Stan, Blinding Flash, Gap Closer. Positioning and debuff stuff, none of it the recovery or accel procs that carry top builds. Nothing here you’d go out of your way to inherit.

  • Pros: full 30% Friendship Bonus, huge specialty priority off the unique, generous hint output.
  • Cons: +1 Power Bonus is nothing, forgettable teachables, loses to the stronger meta Power cards.

Own a top Power friendship card already? Skip the pull. Short on Power options or running a Power-heavy build, she gets the slot filled without complaint.
