[Acupuncturist] Sasami Anshinzawa

Support card art for [Acupuncturist] Sasami Anshinzawa R Friend

Tier D. A bare R Friend with no unique, no failure or energy cut, and limp numbers. Dupe fodder, nothing more.

Friend cards live or die on two things: off-type rainbow training and a bond payoff worth your sixth slot. This R version of Sasami Anshinzawa whiffs on the part that matters. No unique effect. No hint skills. The support stats stay tiny across the board, with Mood Effect crawling to 35% and Event Effectiveness to 25% by Lv40. Starting Friendship Gauge is a flat 20. The Skill Point Bonus is a single point you don’t even see until Lv40.

The killer is what’s missing. Friend cards justify their slot with failure-rate reduction and an energy-cost cut, and this card brings neither. So you’re paying a deck slot for less utility than a plain stat-type card would hand you. The five event skills (Wallflower, Corner Recovery x, Risky Business, Running Idle, Uma Stan) read like leftovers. That x-tier corner recovery is basically a downgrade you’d rather not proc.

A maxed SR Friend clears this at every level, and the SSR Pals are where you actually want to spend tickets.

  • Pros: cheap, dupes are free, passable for padding an early Career run.
  • Cons: zero unique, no failure or energy support, one-point SP bonus, junk skill list.

Run it only when your box is empty. Pulling for it isn’t even a conversation. Eat the dupes, keep moving.
