Analysis
Section titled “Analysis”Tier B. A free Wit card with great energy economy and a usable front-runner kit, but weak Specialty Priority leaves it a step behind the real Wit anchors.
Halloween Bourbon takes the Wit seat, the slot most builds run so you can recover energy and keep feeding rainbow training without stalling out. The energy math is why you’d play her. Wit Friendship Recovery reaches +5 at Lv50, Friendship Bonus caps at 20%, and Mood Effect climbs to a fat 40% at max. Throw in 30 Initial Wit, 20 Initial Speed off the unique, and a +5 Training Effectiveness nudge, and you start a career already padded before the first turn. For a free Story Event card, that’s a lot of value for zero investment.
The problem is Specialty Priority, which is the stat that actually decides if a Wit card carries. Hers tops out at 20. That’s miles under a dedicated anchor like Fine Motion, so she lands on the Wit tile less often and you eat more off-type or solo turns. That gap is exactly what keeps her out of A. The skills are fine if you’re running front. Taking the Lead got buffed and is genuinely worth keeping, and you can hint-fish the Front Runner Straightaways/Corners pair plus Moxie. None of it shapes a build, though.
- Strong energy recovery and 40% mood keep rainbows going
- Generous starting stats plus a free Training Effectiveness bump
- Costs nothing, no pull required
- Low Specialty Priority means fewer Wit appearances
- Front-runner-locked skills with thin general value
Take her, she’s free. Just don’t bench Fine Motion to do it.
