[Tracen Academy] Curren Chan

Support card art for [Tracen Academy] Curren Chan R Intelligence

Tier D. Career filler that fills the Wit slot in a pinch, but the day you own any SR or SSR Wit card, this one rides the bench for good.

An R Wit card lives or dies on the energy-free Wit tile, and Curren Chan brings the baseline numbers you’d guess from a base-rarity unit. Maxed, she hands you a 20% Friendship Bonus, 25% Mood Effect, 35 Specialty Priority, +1 Wit, 5% Training Effectiveness, with a bit of Race and Fan Bonus on the side. The Wit Friendship Recovery caps at 3. That’s the one part I actually like, since Wit training already refunds energy and this stacks a touch more on top.

The catch: there’s no Initial Friendship Gauge. You’re grinding bond up from nothing before that 20% even kicks in, and every other bonus is too small to feel. Her hint pool points at sprinters. You get Sprinting Gear, Sprint Straightaways, Disorient, Hesitant Late Surgers, plus Intimidate off the event. Fine if you’re running a short-distance build, except SSR Curren Chan does the same job better, and literally any SR Wit card stomps these raw bonuses.

  • Pros: free, solid Specialty Priority and Mood at cap, the extra Wit energy recovery, a few sprint hints.
  • Cons: no friendship gauge, the +1 stat is a rounding error, one skill copy each, replaced the instant something better shows up.

Run her as early-career filler or to farm sprint hints. Burning pulls on her limit breaks would be a waste.
