[Trainers' Teamwork] Aoi Kiryuin

Support card art for [Trainers' Teamwork] Aoi Kiryuin SR Friend

Tier C. A cheap Friend SR with a solid safety net, but no Friendship Bonus and filler skills keep it a stopgap until you pull a real one.

Aoi lives in the Friend (Pal) slot, which you run for the date event and training economy, not for rainbow bonuses. The raw numbers are fine for an SR. Maxed you’re looking at 50% Event Recovery, 30% Event Effectiveness, 25% Failure Protection, and 20% Energy Cost Reduction. The Lv25 unique tacks on another +10 Failure Protection and +5 Energy Cost Reduction. That covers one job well: keeping a trainee out of the red-energy failure zone on longer builds. Round it out with the Initial Friendship Gauge (10 to 25), 5% Training Effectiveness, and a small Initial Wit bump.

Here’s the catch. A Friend card earns its slot by buffing a stat, and there’s no Friendship Bonus here at all. So it never supercharges training the way the top Pals do. The skill kit doesn’t save it either. Maverick, Lay Low, Shake It Out, and the pace-down pair are situational filler.

The real knock is the competition. SSR Friend cards hand you stronger event packages and actual training payoff, so this is what you slot while you grind toward one.

  • Pros: strong failure and energy safety net, decent event recovery, cheap to make functional.
  • Cons: zero Friendship Bonus, weak skills, outclassed by every SSR Friend.

Don’t target it on banner. Build it only if the slot’s empty.
