[This Might Sting!] Sasami Anshinzawa

Support card art for [This Might Sting!] Sasami Anshinzawa SSR Friend

Tier D. A coin-flip Friend card with none of the energy or failure-rate help that justifies the type, so leave it for meme runs.

You run a Friend (Pal) card for the things this one skips. Hint-free rainbow training, energy economy, a cushion against training failures. Sasami’s kit is thin. Mood Effect tops out at 60%, Event Effectiveness climbs to 50%, the Initial Friendship Gauge sits at 25 once you break it high enough, Event Recovery only reaches 60% at Lv50, and you get a lone +1 Skill Point Bonus at Lv35. No flat stat bonus anywhere. No failure protection. No broad energy cut. The pitch is “her events fire more often,” and those events are a gamble.

The skill table is where it falls apart. Sometimes you roll Nothing Ventured or Risky Business for late-race speed. The same pool also hands you Corner Recovery ×, Running Idle, or Wallflower. A card whose only selling point is event frequency stops being fun when half the procs are dead weight or actively bad. You’re wagering mood and energy on RNG every time she shows up. Standard Friend picks just hand you the failure-rate cut and energy refills without the dice.

  • Pros: high Mood Effect ceiling, decent Event Effectiveness, can hit spicy acceleration skills.
  • Cons: zero failure protection, energy support stays weak until Lv50, the event pool can give you harmful skills, no stat bonus at all.

Build her if you want a high-roll career gimmick and nothing more.
