[Princess Bride] Kawakami Princess

Speed
Analysis
Section titled “Analysis”Tier A. A premium Speed friendship stat-stick with a class-leading 30% Friendship Bonus and 45 free Initial Speed, dragged down only by a skill list nobody pulls for.
She’s a friendship-pivot Speed card, the workhorse role every Speed slot is fighting to fill. The number that matters: Friendship Bonus caps at 30%, clear of the 25% most friendship cards sit at. Add a 30% Mood Effect and Specialty Priority of 35 and she camps the Speed tile and rainbows hard. The Initial Speed is fat too. Base gives 25, the unique tacks on another 20, so you start a Career with 45 Speed in the bank before a single turn of training. The unique also bolts a flat +1 onto every Speed gain.
The skill kit is the soft spot. Her event skills (Tether, Center Stage, Steadfast) are filler you’d never build around in a real race, and the hints skew utility like Preferred Position and Soft Step instead of gold accel or actual speed skills. You’re pulling her for the training engine. The kit is a rounding error. That’s why she bounces between A and B depending on whose list you read.
She’s up against the top-shelf Speed friendship cards for the slot, and she loses that fight on skills alone. The raw bonuses are legit, though, and she scales hard with uncaps.
- Pros: 30% Friendship, 30% Mood, 45 total Initial Speed, high Specialty Priority, healthy Race/Fan bonuses
- Cons: dead skill list, no meta accel hints, needs MLB to peak, crowded Speed slot
