Analysis
Section titled “Analysis”Tier B. A free Story Event Speed SSR that earns a roster spot on Friendship Bonus and a clean Lv40 unique, but the meta speed SSRs leave it on the bench.
You don’t pull this one. It drops from a Story Event, so the only question is whether it deserves a slot in your speed lineup. For the most part it does the basic job. Friendship Bonus tops out at 35% with Mood Effect at 30%, both fine numbers, and the Lv40 unique tacks on Training Effectiveness +5 and Race Bonus +5 for a quiet density bump. Specialty Priority hits 30 at Lv50, which keeps it glued to Speed appointments where you actually want rainbows.
The cracks show the second you line it up against the cards people grind for. Speed Bonus sits at 1, so flat stat output is thin, and the Initial Friendship Gauge maxes at 10, nowhere near a head start on bond. The hint pool is the real drag. It pushes wet-track picks like Wet Conditions, Rainy Days, Hydrate and Steadfast, then throws in recovery hints such as Gourmand and Extra Tank. Handy on a stamina-starved build or a rainy run. Mostly filler otherwise.
Read it as a solid bench piece for newer trainers or rain comps, and yeah, level it since it costs nothing. The moment a premium speed SSR or two lands in your inventory, this drops to backup.
- Pros: 35% Friendship Bonus, useful Lv40 unique, Specialty Priority 30, completely free.
- Cons: Speed Bonus stuck at 1, hint kit is niche wet/recovery stuff, gets buried by meta speed SSRs.
