[Planned Perfection] Riko Kashimoto
SSR
Friend
Analysis
Section titled “Analysis”Tier A. Best-in-slot Friend for Unity Cup and basically furniture once that scenario cycles out.
Riko is a Friend card, so you’re slotting her for comfort, not rainbow stat gains. The kit is built to keep a run from falling apart. You get 20% Failure Protection and 15% Energy Cost Reduction at cap, and her Lv30 unique piles +10 Failure Protection and +5 Energy Cost Reduction on top of that. The payoff is being able to spam high-fail training without constantly nursing energy bars. That’s a clean fit for the greedy Speed/Power-stacking lines Unity Cup wants.
Events are where she actually earns the slot. Effectiveness caps at 35% with Recovery at 30%, and her choices feed Energy, mood, plus a trickle of Stamina and Guts. Inside Unity Cup the scenario inflates those stat drips, so she patches up just enough endurance to clear Mile and Medium races while the rest of your deck stays greedy. The Lv50 30 Initial Stamina and the 30-point Initial Friendship Gauge are pleasant bonuses, not reasons to build her.
Step outside Unity Cup and the problem is glaring. Those Friend bonuses go generic, and a free maxed R Riko or any other Friend does the same job. Worse, she brings nothing for combat. The skills (Ramp Up, Lone Wolf, Sympathy) are event filler with zero hints attached.
- Pros: capped Failure Protection plus Energy reduction, both juiced by the unique; strong event economy; in-scenario Stamina and mood fixing.
- Cons: value tanks off-scenario; no hint skills; skill list is event-only fluff.
Max her if you’re sweating Unity Cup. F2P players riding out the rotation can pass.
