[On and Off the Court] Mejiro Ryan
SR
Power
Analysis
Section titled “Analysis”Tier C. A fine Power friendship SR for a beginner deck, but there’s zero reason to chase it over a Power SSR or the stronger SR fillers.
Ryan does the one thing a Power friendship SR needs to do and stops there. Friendship Bonus tops out at 20%, Mood Effect at 30%, and the Lv25 unique tacks on +15 Mood plus +5 Race Bonus. Solid scaling for the rarity. A maxed copy keeps mood pinned high, which quietly pads every Power session across the run. The bond start is generous too: Initial Friendship Gauge hits 25 by Lv45, so you reach rainbow training faster instead of grinding the bar.
The rest drags. Stamina Bonus is a flat 1, and Training Effectiveness stalls at 5%, so raw stat output trails the better cards. The hint kit is the bigger letdown. Nimble Navigator and Pace Strategy come off events, and the weather hints (Wet Conditions, Rainy Days) are points you almost never want to spend. Navigator carves out a tiny niche for runner and closer builds that fuss over positioning, but plenty of cards hint that without the dead weather slots.
- Good Friendship and Mood scaling for an SR, plus a fast bond start
- Power is always a wanted slot, so it earns a bench spot in a starter deck
- Weak 5% Training Effectiveness and a single point of Stamina
- Weather hints are mostly filler
Run it if you already own copies and need a fourth Power body. An MLB version holds the slot until a real Power SSR shows up. Pulling for it on purpose is a waste.
