Biko is a Speed slot filler. You run her for friendship training, raw Speed, and rainbow procs, nothing fancier. The stats hold up at max: 25% Friendship Bonus, 15% Training Effectiveness with the Lv30 unique tacking on another +5% for 20% total, and 35 Initial Speed. Specialty Priority is the standout. 35 from levels plus +20 from the unique keeps her glued to the Speed tile. Race Bonus hits 10% and Fan Bonus 20%, so the padding is fine.
Her skills skew sprint and mile. Plan X arrives through her event and a hint, Sprint Straightaways is the other event skill, and the hint pool runs Outer Post Proficiency, Gap Closer, Updrafters and the like. Handy for short trips, mostly dead weight on a 2400m build. The two training events drop minor Speed and Guts and treat your energy well.
Limit breaks are where she lives or dies. At 0LB the low Friendship Bonus and Specialty Priority make her forgettable. She doesn’t pull her weight until 3LB or higher, and even maxed she’s elbowing Kitasan Black and a deep SR pool for the spot.
- Pros: 25% Friendship, 20% Training Effectiveness, heavy Specialty Priority, decent race and fan padding.
- Cons: dead at low LB, sprint-tilted skills, useless for long-distance careers.
