[Tracen Academy] Daiwa Scarlet

Support card art for [Tracen Academy] Daiwa Scarlet R Intelligence

Tier D. A bare-bones starter-deck Wit card that gets the early-career job done, then rides the bench the second you pull anything with an actual kit.

Generic R Wit, the kind you run because your box is empty. Wit training earns its slot in early careers since it bumps skill activation, drains less stamina, and keeps the Rushed status off your back. So a Wit body on the deck does smooth things out. The kit is where it falls apart. Friendship Bonus tops out at 20% even maxed, Mood Effect at 25%, and the Wit stat bonus is a single point. Those are placeholder values against any SR or up.

The support tools are fine for a freebie. Max Specialty Priority parks it on Wit training so the rainbows actually show up, and Wit Friendship Recovery hands back a little energy per session. The starting bond gauge shaves a turn or two off grinding friendship. Hint list is serviceable filler: Competitive Spirit and Preferred Position, plus Shifting Gears, Up-Tempo, and a Stamina to Spare event skill.

Rarity is the wall. Fine Motion is the Wit card people actually build around, and even Nice Nature beats this on every line. Pull either and this comes straight off the board.

  • Pros: max Specialty Priority anchors Wit training, decent energy recovery, usable hints.
  • Cons: 20% friendship cap, +1 Wit, no unique effect, outclassed by Fine Motion or Nice Nature on day one.

Don’t spend rolls chasing it. Slot it untrained as filler and forget about it once a real Wit card lands.
