Analysis
Section titled “Analysis”Tier B. A free, perfectly usable Wit card with strong energy recovery and friendship numbers, dragged off the top by a finicky unique and the meanest type slot in the game.
Every roster wants one Wit card eventually. The slot that keeps your trainee’s energy topped off while piling on skill hints, and Diamond covers the basics cleanly. Friendship Bonus caps at 25%, Hint Frequency sits at 20%, and Specialty Priority hits 20 to keep her on Wit. The number that matters is Wit Friendship Recovery at 5. That’s the whole reason you run a Wit support: you can grind Wit training without watching energy drain away. Initial Friendship Gauge of 20 and Initial Wit 30 give you a small head start on bond too.
Then the unique trips it up. It comes online at Lv40 and only fires when your deck packs at least 4 different card types, which clashes with how Wit builds actually run. Most of us double up on Speed and Stamina, so that 4-type condition rarely lines up. And the Wit Bonus attached to it is a sad 1.
The kit points at Late Surger. Lie in Wait is a real recovery proc for that running style, propped up by hints for Late Surger Straightaways and Corners, plus Position Pilfer and Pressure. None of that saves her from the premium Wit staples everyone already owns.
- Plus: 25% Friendship, 5 Wit recovery, costs nothing, Lie in Wait for Late Surgers
- Minus: conditional unique, 1 Wit Bonus, the Wit slot is stacked against her
Park her in the slot until something better drops. Skip the dupe grind.
