[Tracen Academy] Kawakami Princess

Support card art for [Tracen Academy] Kawakami Princess R Speed

Tier D. A throwaway R Speed card that limps you through your first Career runs and hits the bench the second any SR or SSR Speed support lands.

Classic starter R Speed. You get handed one early and toss it the moment something better shows up. Max it out to LB4/Lv40 and the Friendship Bonus reaches 20% with a 25% Mood Effect, which reads okay on paper. The catch is there’s no friendship-training multiplier and no unique effect to stack on top, so those numbers are the whole ceiling. Initial Speed +20 is a flat freebie. The Power Bonus sits at 1 by Lv40, which is close enough to zero that you won’t notice it.

The hints point at late-pace running: Standard Distance, Preferred Position, Soft Step, Tactical Tweak, plus Steadfast off the event. Preferred Position actually matters for positioning builds. Problem is you can grab that same hint off a card that also trains Speed like it means it. Specialty Priority caps at 35, fine for keeping the card glued to Speed tiles, assuming you even keep it in the deck.

Then reality hits. It’s up against every SR and SSR Speed support, all of which bring fatter friendship multipliers, stat bonuses that register, and unique effects this one flat-out doesn’t have. Zero reason to chase it. Pure gacha filler.

  • Pro: free, maxes painlessly, carries early Career runs, and the Preferred Position hint is genuinely handy
  • Con: Power Bonus of 1, no unique effect, bonuses that fold against any SR/SSR Speed card
  • Bench it the instant literally anything fills the Speed slot
